About

Alloro was born from a journey of climbing and a rediscovery of how to breathe again.

Alloro is a Canadian candle and home fragrance brand based in Toronto.

The founder is an outdoor and mountaineering enthusiast. Her life had always been goal-driven — the next summit, the next task, the next achievement. The faster she moved, the heavier everything felt. She often forgot that life is not only about reaching, but also about feeling.

Everything changed during Christmas 2024, when she embarked on an 18-day expedition to Aconcagua, the highest peak in the Americas.
At 6,000 meters above sea level, she often asked her guide when they would finally reach the summit. He replied:

“Don’t just focus on the summit.
Enjoy your every climbing day.”

That moment became a turning point. She realized that we shouldn’t wait until the finish line to breathe. We deserve to slow down and cherish every part of the journey.

When she returned to Canada, she created Alloro — a brand designed to help people step out of fast-paced living and step into moments of calm.

Every Alloro product carries the spirit of slow living: grounding, soothing, and infused with the quiet breath of nature. It is a reminder that no matter how busy life becomes, you deserve a space where you can pause, inhale deeply, and reconnect with yourself.

The name Alloro comes from the Laurel Goddess.

“Alloro” means laurel in Italian, inspired by the Greek myth of Daphne —
the nymph who transformed into a laurel tree, a symbol of freedom, resilience, and feminine strength.

Alloro carries this spirit — soft yet powerful, gentle yet unbreakable.

Slowing down is its own form of strength.

Each Alloro product whispers a reminder:

You can chase dreams —
and still deserve healing along the way.

Rooted in nature, giving back to nature.

As an outdoor lover, the founder understands how fragile nature is.
That’s why Alloro pledges:

10% of profits will support environmental protection.

Protecting nature means protecting every breath we take.

Alloro is strength wrapped in softness —
the resilience of mountains and the freedom of wind.
A gentle reminder that slowing down
is also a powerful way forward.
